Genero Adran North leaders Connah’s Quay Nomads have completed the signing of Kinmel Bay forward Lexi Walsh.

The 17-year-old has been a standout for Kinmel Bay since stepping up to senior football, scoring 47 goals in all competitions since making the jump last season.

Walsh has impressed at every age group she’s played at, most notably scoring six goals in the 2024 Bute Energy U16’s Cup Semi-Finals against Talycopa AFC, in a 7-2 win at Park Avenue.

Two goals on her senior debut in February 2025 in the North East Wales League Cup against CPD Pwllheli was followed by a hattrick on her league debut against Caernarfon Town two weeks later, as Walsh made an immediate impact in the senior football scene.

Having previously expressed her dream of playing professionally in the women’s game, Walsh makes her next step after nearly a three-year affiliation with Kinmel Bay, having joined from Rhyl Commandos in 2023.

Connah’s Quay Nomads boss Jord Parry said on Walsh joining the club: “Giving youth a chance is the key pillar within our female section, I have been a huge admirer for a long time of Lexi. Really looking forward to working with her.”
