Genero Adran North leaders Connah’s Quay Nomads have completed the signing of former Wrexham AFC midfielder TJ Dickens.

Dickens departed Wrexham in November, and has been recovering from an ACL injury sustained in summer 2024 whilst Wrexham were on tour in the United States.

64 appearances and 10 goals in a four-year spell at Wrexham, Dickens now rejoins her former side Connah’s Quay Nomads, who she was last with during the 2019/20 campaign.

The 28-year-old also spent time with Rhyl FC in the top flight, where she was a regular with the side who were initially known as Rhyl & Prestatyn when she started her senior career.

Well-known for her incredible free-kick against the Nomads in the Genero Adran North for Wrexham, in front of a record-breaking crowd of 9,511 at the STōK Cae Ras, Dickens spoke on X after her signing was announced, saying that she was “grateful for the opportunity” to return to action in Connah’s Quay colours.

Nomads boss Jord Parry said: “Top player with experience and great desire to get back to her top level.

“Really looking forward to working with TJ.”
