Genero Adran North leaders Connah’s Quay Nomads Women have added to their goalkeeping ranks with the signing of Ruby Stevens from Flint Town United.
Formerly of Airbus UK Broughton, Stevens progressed through Airbus’ youth setup before representing the club in the Adran North between 2022 and 2024. Met with strong competition at Flint, the shot stopper made 11 appearances in all competitions during her time at the Essity Stadium.
The 19-year-old joins Megan Bowen and Ellie Suckley in Nomads’ goalkeeping department. Suckley has been out of action since March, whilst Bowen’s loan deal from The New Saints is set to finish in January.
Writing on X, Nomads boss Jord Parry said on Stevens joining: “Another fantastic addition to our young squad with so much potential. Fitted in straight away.

“Looking forward to working with Ruby for the remainder of the season.”
Connah’s Quay have won all four league games so far this season, as they look to reclaim the Adran North title, and go one step further by achieving promotion to the Genero Adran Premier.
They face newly promoted Berriew in their next Adran North fixture in the new year after the winter break, Sunday 18th January.
