Genero Adran Premier side Barry Town United have added to their attacking options with the signing of skillful winger Lauren Payne, who joins from Briton Ferry Llansawel.
After leaving Briton Ferry on Friday, Payne had now made the move to Jenner Park to join up with James Fishlock’s side.
The former Cardiff City youngster made seven appearances in all competitions for Ferry, scoring three times.
Beginning her career with the FAW Girls Academy South, she also had a brief spell with Cardiff Met before joining Pontypridd United, where she won promotion back to the Genero Adran Premier last season.
The 18-year-old joined Briton Ferry in the summer, but has now become Barry’s third signing of the January transfer window.
She follows defenders Holly Jones and Izzy Caunt in joining The Linnets in the past few days.
