Swansea City can win the Genero Adran U19s Championship Conference if they avoid defeat against Aberystwyth Town on Friday night.
Wins against Cardiff Met and Llanelli Town AFC means Swansea just need a point against Aberystwyth, who are now the only side able to catch them.
The Swans put six past Cardiff Met in the first of the two games in the last seven days. Susanna Cunningham scored a hattrick, whilst there was also a brace from Florence Tarrant and a goal for Lowri Jones.
They went one better on Tuesday night in a 7-1 win against Llanelli Town, with Lowri Jones back to scoring hattricks.
A rare goal but coming in twos for defender Caitlin Sweeney, who scored a brace at Stebonheath Park. Susanna Cunningham and Katie Rowles also scored for Richard Harris’ side.
Aberystwyth travel to Swansea having not played since mid-March, and will be looking to respond to a late 1-0 defeat away to Cascade YC.
Having had a breakthrough season and impressing at both U19s and senior level, Trinity Reakes found the decisive moment in added time in Ystrad Mynach.
It was another successful night for Cascade in Ystrad Mynach on Tuesday night, in a thrilling 5-4 win against Taffs Well.
The first half was one of former Caldicot Town teammates scoring for either side. Carys Winmill Bevan scored twice to make it 2-0, before a hattrick from Rianne Jones saw the visitors leading at the break.
A brace for Reakes and a goal for Lily Mayne would see Cascade narrowly claim the win. Alys Grant also scored for a third game in a row for Taffs Well, but it wouldn’t be enough.
Cascade travel to Penybont on Friday, whilst Taffs Well host Llanelli Town.
Pontypridd United travel to Carmarthen Town in their first game since mid-March, as both sides look to continue their title push in the Premier Conference.
The Dragons have at least two games in hand on the teams above them, with three on their Friday night opponents Carmarthen.
Huw Evans’ side were involved in a seven-goal thriller at The Rock last week, but would come out on the wrong side in a 4-3 defeat to Wrexham.
Evie Jones scored a brace earlier on, with Ophelia Jenkins also on the scoresheet, but a hattrick from Grace Morris and an effort from Ana Jones saw Wrexham fight back to claim their first win since February.
Wrexham made it two from two during the week, with a 3-2 win against local rivals The New Saints.
Olive Cooke gave Wrexham an early lead, before early second-half goals from Non Williams and Zara Gibbs turned the game around for TNS.
However, with 20 minutes to go, Izzy Barnett levelled the scoring, with Tillie Ashworth scoring the winner three minutes from time, as Wrexham go 2nd in the Premier Conference.
Gareth Owen’s side travel to Barry Town United on Saturday evening, in a 1st vs 2nd clash (at the time of writing) set up at Jenner Park.
The New Saints next play on Tuesday night, as they travel to The Poppies 3G to face Connah’s Quay Nomads.
Cardiff City hosts Briton Ferry Llansawel in the other game on Friday night, as The Bluebirds will be looking to continue the pressure on those at the top.
