FA Women’s National League side Gwalia United have completed the signing of Aberystwyth Town midfielder Imi Scourfield.
The 19-year-old has been a standout for Aber since developing through into the first team in the Genero Adran Premier.
Scourfield joined Aberystwyth in 2022 from Neyland Pink Pirates, and was a regular for the Under 19s side in 2022/23.
She made her debut for the senior side in the Genero Adran Premier against Barry Town United in September 2023, and would soon earn a callup to Cymru U19s in that same year. Scourfield made her debut in October against Czech Republic.

Originally starting as a defender for Aber in her earlier days at the club, Scourfield has progressed into a midfielder, playing several roles in that position, and was key to Aberystwyth’s top four finish in 2024.
Scourfield made 55 senior appearances in all competitions for Aber during her spell at the club, scoring on seven occasions.
She joins a Gwalia United side struggling towards the bottom of the FAWNL Southern Premier Division, as they look to retain tier three status in England.
