Cardiff City will be looking to build on a last minute winner last time out when they head to Pontypridd United on Friday evening in the Genero Adran U19s Premier Conference.
Former Ponty midfielder Aimee Cake was the match winner for The Bluebirds, as Tom Stiley’s side beat Briton Ferry Llansawel 1-0 at Ocean Park Arena.
It’s a Pontypridd side that Cardiff City haven’t claimed a point off this season, but The Dragons will have to bounce back from defeat last time out if that record is to continue.
Goals either side of halftime from Ophelia Jenkins and Summer Evans saw Carmarthen Town get the better of Ponty last Friday, as Huw Evans’ side returned to winning ways at the LHP Stadium.
Carmarthen travel to The New Saints this week.

Wrexham are the new league leaders, for the first time in Phase Two. Gareth Owen’s side claimed an impressive 3-2 win away at Barry Town United, who’s place at the top they took in the process.
The win was prior to the news that broke during the week that the Genero Adran U19s North League would not continue into 2026/27, and will therefore have no National Phase to the U19s campaign, meaning any potential of title success will hold even more significance.
Tillie Ashworth’s penalty set Wrexham on their way, on a day that they had a squad of eleven down South.
Second-half goals from Sienna Perry and Bella Riley would prove vital, as Barry scored twice in the closing seconds of the game through Hope Rees and Beca Thomas. Wrexham held out for the win at Jenner Park.
The Red Dragons don’t play this week after their fixture with Connah’s Quay Nomads was postponed.
That means Barry have the chance to claim back top spot, when they travel to Llandarcy to face Briton Ferry Llansawel on Friday night.
In the Championship Conference, Swansea City were crowned champions after a 4-1 win against Aberystwyth Town last week.
A brace from Lowri Jones and a Megan-Ruby Clarke finish made it three for Swansea at the break, with Ella Thomas replying for Aber after the first two goals.
Katie Rowles scored the fourth for Swansea with just over ten minutes to play at Llandarcy. That was Richard Harris’ side’s final game in Phase Two, with 33 points from a possible 36.
Aberystwyth face Llanelli away from home in their next fixture on Friday evening, who were defeated 2-1 by Taffs Well last week, a result which saw The Wellwomen move up to 3rd.
Rianne Jones and Paige Richardson both scored in the closing stages of the first half, in what would be the deciding goals. Abigael Pritchard hit back for Llanelli, but it wouldn’t be enough.
Taffs Well host Penybont on Friday, and it’s a Penybont side who will have had a confidence boost after a 2-2 draw with Cascade YC last week.
Seren Morgan opened the scoring for Bont, before Trinity Reakes equalised just seconds later, with both goals coming in the first two minutes of the match.
Catrin Edwards fired home from the spot to put Penybont back ahead, a period of the game which also saw Skye Francis shown a red card for Cascade.
However to Cascade’s credit, they found an equaliser late on despite being down to ten. Emily English’s goal ensured the visitors took a point from the game.
Cascade host Cardiff Met on Friday night at CCB Centre For Sporting Excellence, as Met look to secure 2nd spot in the Championship Conference.
