Hallie Billingsley signs for Connah’s Quay Nomads

Genero Adran North leaders Connah’s Quay Nomads have completed the signing of defender Hallie Billingsley, joining from the FAW Girls Academy setup.

The 16-year-old represented Cymru U16s last year. She progressed through the youth at Everton, NFA and Hearts Wanderers before joining the FAW setup in the North.

A tall defender capable of playing across the backline, but primarily in a central role, she made her senior debut in the Genero Adran North for Connah’s Quay Nomads against Berriew two weeks ago.

Nomads boss Jord Parry told club media on signing Billingsley: “I’ve known Hallie for years and I know how good of a player she was, so when the opportunity came up to sign her I knew that I had to snap her up straight away.”

On the game against Berriew: “She came on at full back, did really well. I was really impressed.”

Next up for Connah’s Quay Nomads is a matchup with CPDM Bangor at Deeside Stadium on Sunday 1st February, 2pm kickoff.
