The New Saints Women have appointed Kieran Lee-Birch as the team’s new Head Coach, bringing an end to their search of a new permanent boss.
After the departure of Jodie Williams in November, assistant manager Mikey Harris was placed in interim charge, and has found more consistency in results during that time.
Lee-Birch is familiar to the club, having been Club Academy Manager before his appointment, with Academy Coach Jack Ellis also joining the Women’s First Team coaching staff. Both Lee-Birch and Ellis are also involved at Penycae as coaches in the Lock Ardal North East.
Mikey Harris will also remain in the management team after his work with the side since the summer, with Harris playing a big role in TNS’ recruitment in the summer.
Kieran Lee-Birch will begin his tenure tomorrow afternoon, as TNS return to Genero Adran Premier action away to Swansea City.
He said to TNS’ website on being appointed: “I’m proud to be appointed head coach of The New Saints Women.

“There’s a lot of good work already in place, and my focus is on building on that alongside Jack and Mikey, continuing to develop the players and pushing the team forward in a positive direction.”
The New Saints sit in 4th place in the Genero Adran Premier, two points above the chasing Briton Ferry Llansawel, with three games remaining until the Phase Two split.
