Four games to be played in the Genero Adran Leagues in the next two days, with many fixtures rescheduled after recent postponements during the season.
The Genero Adran Premier is closing in on Phase Two of the season. Phase One has been extended by a week to ensure all fixtures are complete, alongside the Genero Adran Trophy after Sunday’s games were postponed. Those will be played this weekend instead.
Two crucial games to be played in the context of the top four in the Adran Prem, whilst two games are also set to played in the Genero Adran North.

Wednesday 14th January
Genero Adran Premier
Swansea City vs The New Saints
M&P Group 3G
Kick-Off – 7:45pm
The New Saints will be looking to boost their top four hopes when they face Swansea City tonight, with the game to be played at Cambrian United’s M&P Group 3G.
Swansea will host TNS in Rhondda and Yzzy Taylor’s side will be looking for a repeat of the reverse fixture, where the travelling Swans that day came from behind to win 2-1 at Park Hall.
Zara Gibbs gave The Saints the lead that day, but a Chloe Chivers free-kick which went in off the back of Mackenzie Haydn-Jones, and a Stacey John penalty, saw Swansea City claim all three points that day.
Hopefully third time lucky saying this, but tonight’s game will be Kieran Lee-Birch’s first game in charge of the Saints. Having already been at the club as Academy Manager, he replaces Jodie Williams in taking charge of a TNS side looking to secure a top four spot.
Currently two points ahead of Briton Ferry Llansawel, The Ferry have a game in hand, but with Rhys Thomas’ side facing Cardiff City tomorrow, this is a chance for TNS to put the pressure on ahead of that game.
For Swansea City, a chance to cement that 3rd spot, and even potentially put themselves back in with an outside chance for the title. A win on Wednesday evening would take them within four points of league leaders Wrexham AFC.
Genero Adran North
CPDM Bangor vs CPDM Y Felinheli
Bangor City Stadium
Kick-Off – 7:45pm
A key battle in the bottom half of the Genero Adran North, as CPDM Y Felinheli travel back to the Bangor City Stadium to face CPDM Bangor on Wednesday evening.
This game was abandoned due to weather conditions in the second half in early December, with Felinheli 2-0 up at the time through goals from Jordanne Greenough and Llywela Edwards.
Aaron Jones-Evans’ side will be looking repeat that again and take maximum points, to build on an impressive comeback draw to Flint Town United at the weekend.
A brilliant free-kick from Llywela Edwards, who has been in fine form this season, brought Felinheli back into the game with 20 minutes to go. Katie Midwinter struck from distance in the last few moments of the game to ensure tonight’s visitors claimed a point at Treborth.
Playing in Bangor on Sunday, and it’s back to Bangor tonight for Felinheli. CPDM Bangor are looking for their first win since September in all competitions.
The original fixture with CPDM Y Felinheli was their last game over a month ago, so they’ll be looking to start 2026 with a positive result. At least a point tonight would take Bangor off the foot of the table, with just one point separating the bottom four in the Genero Adran North.
Thursday 15th January
Genero Adran Premier
Briton Ferry Llansawel vs Cardiff City
The Renewable Centre Stadium
Kick-Off – 7:30pm
A huge fixture for both of these sides, as top four chasing Briton Ferry Llansawel face title chasing Cardiff City at The Renewable Centre Stadium.
Cardiff City’s game in hand is a chance for The Bluebirds to take back top spot in the Genero Adran Premier, after winning what in the grand-scheme of things was a must win game against Wrexham AFC.
Fiona Barry’s last minute winner in a 2-1 win at the Cardiff International Sports Stadium in the first week of January saw Iain Darbyshire’s side take control of the title race once again, and a win on Thursday night would be another statement of intent.
They’ve also progressed in the Bute Energy Welsh Cup since that, in a convincing win over SWWGL Combined side Trefelin BGC, meaning their unbeaten run in all competitions since September continues.
However, they travel to a Briton Ferry Llansawel side battling for something big themselves. A top four place is still within reach, and like Cardiff, their fate is in their own hands.
A recent positive run of results for Rhys Thomas’ side means they come into this game with momentum, currently just two points below 4th placed TNS with a game in hand.
The New Saints can put pressure on Ferry with a win against Swansea City, with The Saints’ playing on Wednesday evening, but if Briton Ferry can win their own fixtures, that top four spot will be theirs.
No doubt a very tough ask against Cardiff City, with the reverse fixture between the two sides turning out not to be much of a contest. A 5-1 win for the current Adran Premier champions in September, with the game 4-0 at halftime.
This is a Briton Ferry Llansawel side who have improved since then, and will have home advantage on Thurday evening. Whatever does happen, the outcome will have a significant impact on the Genero Adran Premier League table.
Genero Adran North
Berriew vs Llanfair United
Haydn Williams Recreation Ground
Kick-Off – 7pm
A Mid Wales clash between Berriew and Llanfair United in the Genero Adran North, a repeat of the Central Wales FA Cup Final last season.
Lucie Gwilt’s side came out on top that day in Welshpool. Emma Williams gave Llanfair the lead, before a Paris Schofield penalty and a Becky Jones finish sealed the victory and silverware for last season’s Adran North runners-up.
This will be the first league clash between the two sides in recent history, with the newly promoted Berriew looking to bounce back after a heavy defeat to Connah’s Quay Nomads last week.
Nomads ran riot and proved why they’re the North champions, in a 10-0 win. A quick turnaround means Berriew have an immediate chance to put things right.
Despite Sunday’s result, Regina Hanratty’s side have started life in tier two relatively well, especially the way they’ve battled in games. A 3-0 win against Llandudno in November has been their standout moment so far this season. Dottie Evans, formerly of Llanfair United, scored twice in that game, her fifth goal of the season.
A chance for Berriew to jump to 4th, and for Llanfair United to take Flint’s 2nd spot, so another midweek game with lots on the line.
