Wrexham can claim the Genero Adran Premier title for the first time if they beat Cardiff City on Sunday, after wins against The New Saints and Swansea City in the past week.
A close encounter at Park Hall saw Wrexham narrowly beat The New Saints, in a game which saw TNS finish the game with nine players.
After a goalless first half, another moment of quality from Faye Knox won the game for the travelling Red Dragons. A solo run down the left saw Knox fly past the TNS backline, before finishing past Orla Howard, in a vital three points.
It would also be a last outing in TNS colours for versatile midfielder Matilda Edge, who departs to continue her football in the US.
That win would be followed up with a dominant 7-1 win against Swansea City at the M&P Group 3G in Rhondda on Wednesday night.
Katie Barker, Faye Knox and Ava Suckley all scored braces, whilst Mariam Mahmood was also on the scoresheet, as Wrexham go top after winning their game in hand. Stacey John scored what was the equaliser for Swansea, but it wouldn’t be enough for The Swans.
Cardiff City were victorious again against rivals Swansea City, in a 2-1 win which saw all three goals scored in the first half.
Lily Billingham opened the scoring for Cardiff with a chip over Swansea goalkeeper Amelia Forkings, before an effort down the right from Eilish Mitchell went all the way into the back of the net.
This game also saw a brilliant solo run, this time from Mackenzie Olden, who after making a run down the right cut back to Laura Curnock, who finished from close range to make sure Iain Darbyshire’s side didn’t lose ground in the title race.
In the Plate Conference, the gape at the top end of the group has been cut to one point, after Briton Ferry Llansawel were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Aberystwyth Town.
The opener came just five minutes in through Jess Denscombe, but a late equaliser from Aberystwyth defender Libby Isaac secured a point for The Seasiders.
Dropped points from Ferry has allowed Barry Town United back into the picture for top spot in the Plate, with a 3-0 win for The Linnets against Pontypridd United taking James Fishlock’s side to within a point of Ferry.
Second-half goals from Beca Thomas and Lauren Payne, as well as a penalty from Erin Murray, would round off an important three points for Barry at Jenner Park.
Connah’s Quay Nomads are back-to-back Genero Adran North winners after a 2-0 win against Flint Town United secured the title for Jord Parry’s side.
Having returned from an injury in recent months, Phoebe Ellis gave Nomads the lead, before a Mel Barlow free-kick wrapped up the scoring for Connah’s Quay. Flint finished the game with ten after goalkeeper Shaunacy Kennedy was sent off, which saw player/manager Rebecca Eagles take the gloves for the rest of the game.
Llanfair United have all but mathematically secured 2nd spot in the Genero Adran North after a 3-0 win against Berriew.
The hosts went into the break with a 1-0 lead after Sophie Cook opened the scoring, which was followed by a second for the winger with just over 20 minutes to play.
Harriet Davies also scored late on, to ensure Llanfair are set to complete back-to-back 2nd place finishes in the second tier.

Llandudno won a key clash at the bottom of the league in a 2-1 win against CPDM Bangor, which takes Jay Davies’ side up to 5th in the league.
A second-half brace from Maddie Williams saw Llandudno claim a first win since the start of January. Jasmin Dutton’s late own goal would only be a consolation for Bangor.
An even more significant bottom of the table clash with a relegation spot guaranteed saw Taffs Well beat Llanelli Town AFC 3-0 at Rhiw Dda’r in the Genero Adran South.
Rianne Jones scored a brace to take her league tally to seven, whilst Emily Davies scored her first Genero Adran Leagues goal to complete the scoring. Taffs Well move up to 7th with the win, with just one game remaining in the league.
League winners on Wednesday night against Cwmbran Celtic, Cardiff Met were held away at Cascade YC in a 1-1 draw.
Molly Chapman gave Jon Nash’s side the lead on the hour mark, before Megan Waite equalised just eight minutes after being introduced to the match, as Cascade continue their unbeaten 2026.
After that defeat to Met in midweek, Cwmbran responded with a 3-0 win at home to 2nd placed Carmarthen Town.
Carmarthen were down to ten just ten minutes in after a red card for Lani Hogben, with Cwmbran taking the lead seven minutes later through Fiona Anthony. Hollie Channing made it two before the interval.
Macey Morris scored Cwmbran’s third with ten minutes to go, as they move back up to 4th, and could still finish as high as 2nd with a game still to play.
The title race in the North Wales Coast Llandudno Kia Women’s League is set to go down to the wire, as Kinmel Bay and Llangefni Town both won again.
League leaders Kinmel beat CPD Merched Henllan 11-1 away from home.
Jessica Nettleton scored four times, whilst Jaide Ang also scored a hattrick.
Seren Williams scored twice, and there were also goals for Lucy Perry and Georgia Williams. Amy Woodbridge scored the goal for Henllan.
Kinmel Bay remain a point clear at the top, as Llangefni kept the pressure on with a 3-1 win away to Denbigh Town. Amber Brown scored a brace and Ffion Owen scored, as Dan Gregg’s side go head-to-head with Kinmel Bay next week at Cae Bob Parry. Llangefni still have two games in hand on their title rivals.
CPD Pwllheli continued their unbeaten start to the year with a 2-1 win against Trearddur Bay. Sian Moore scored a brace on their way to the three points. Elin Murley originally equalised for Trearddur, but it wouldn’t be enough.
Llanidloes Town won a fourth game in a row in the Central Wales North League, in a 4-1 win against away to Coedpoeth United.
Phoebe Short scored a brace as she continues a breakout season from youth football, whilst Abbie Regan and Ebon Lewis also scored for the away side. Kimberley Pugh got the goal for Coedpoeth.
Moving onto 10 points in the season is Buckley Town, who beat Newtown AFC 5-0 at home, which saw braces for Bethan Hughes and Alexandra Stapleton. Poppy Rawlinson was also on the scoresheet for Buckley.
A second half goal from Jess Thomas saw Lampeter Town AFC close the gap towards the top of the Tlysau Tanygroes Ceredigion League in a 1-0 win against Bont.
Kelly Adams scored a hattrick as 2nd placed Trefelin BGC put nine past Ammanford in a 9-3 in the SWWGL Combined.
Coryn Sexton scored a brace in Trefelin’s win, whilst Sarah Adams, Jessica Curran and Charlotte Phillips were also on the scoresheet, along with an own goal.
Georgia Martin, Rhian Evans and Meleri Owen scored late on for Ammanford, who continue to battle well to secure a top half finish.
Still with a chance of chasing leaders Llanrumney United with games in hand, Cambrian United were victorious again in a 4-1 win away to Pontarddulais Town.
Niamh Duggan opened the scoring before Sian Jones equalised for the hosts. However, Duggan would go onto score three more times to round off the scoring.

A hattrick from Katie Mainwaring helped Penclawdd AFC on their way to an impressive 5-2 win against Penydarren BGC.
Emily Jenkinson and Amy Bibb also scored in the win. A brace from Penydarren skipper Kate Allen saw the hosts respond, but it was Penclawdd who would go onto claim an important three points.
Division One league leaders Cardiff Wanderers were defeated 5-3 by an in-form Llantwit Fardre, with Undy AFC also winning to close the gap.
The top three all won in the Division Two title race, as North Cardiff Cosmos remain top. Llangynwyd Rangers and AFC Llwydcoed continue to challenge with wins at the weekend.
In Division Three, Graig Villa Dino won again as they look set for promotion to Division Two in the SWWGL.
Penalty shootouts decided both quarter-final ties on Sunday in the Alun Evans League Cup, as Goytre AFC and Llanbradach AFC both progressed to the semi-finals.
The semi-finals will see Johnstown face Llanbradach, with Penclawdd facing Goytre.
Pure Swansea and Swansea City U19s are through to the West Wales Challenge Cup Semi-Finals with wins against Bryncoch and Johnstown respectively.
Katie Rowles scored twice, whilst Grace Tilley was also on the scoresheet for The Young Swans. Annabel Stokes scored five times in Pure Swansea’s win.
In the Perago West Wales League Division One, the side who started the day bottom of the league Bonymaen Colts were 3-0 winners against Burry Port.
Abigail Lewis opened the scoring, before goals from Leah Haines and Lily Draper rounded off the scoring for Bonymaen.
Rockspur, Resolven AFC and Pontarddulais Town Development all won in Division Two, whilst Pembrokeshire League leaders St Dogmaels beat Milford Atheltic.
