(Pic by Ashley Crowden\/FAW)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Originally starting as a defender for Aber in her earlier days at the club, Scourfield has progressed into a midfielder, playing several roles in that position, and was key to Aberystwyth&#8217;s top four finish in 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Scourfield made 55 senior appearances in all competitions for Aber during her spell at the club, scoring on seven occasions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She joins a Gwalia United side struggling towards the bottom of the FAWNL Southern Premier Division, as they look to retain tier three status in England. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FA Women&#8217;s National League side Gwalia United have completed the signing of Aberystwyth Town midfielder Imi Scourfield.
