Hands up if you saw this score coming nor me. Denbigh Town took the lead after 29 minutes with Nathan Brown scoring a stunning volley into the top left hand corner for his 16th league goal. The second goal wasn’t long in coming either 2 minutes in fact Brown would assist Bobby Beaumont- Broadhead to head home the second. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before half time Denbigh were in dream land a quick double of goals came their way, Brown again would assist for the 9th time this season for Alfie Vaughan to score and in first half injury time it got even better Sam Duffy made it four, so in the space of 19 first half minutes Denbigh had scored four times so clinical in front of goal and they took the game away from the home team. In the second half Buckley hit the post twice but in added on time sub Gabriel Hitchcliffe headed the ball on to Vaughan who made it five. The added bonus for Denbigh first clean sheet in six games. Buckley are still in a battle for fourth place Asa Hamilton team have got Bangor 1876 away on Friday night, with 4th Flint Mountain 5th Llandudno and 6th Buckley Town all on 40 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In form Seasiders picked up another win in their local derby clash against Bangor 1876 at the Bangor City Stadium to climb up to 5th in the league they were behind twice when Bangor Captain Tom Clarke put his side 1-0 up only for 60 seconds later Llandudno’s Harvey Bennett headed in to draw the teams level, then Liam Morris put the home team back in front with 25 yard shot which went in off the post, only for Bennett again to score on the stroke of half time. It was left to The Seasiders Mark Cadwallader on the hour mark to climb above the defender to head home the winner and score his 17th league goal of the season to send the away fans happy.<\/p>\n\n\n

Holywell Town further cemented 3rd place in the league with a 1-0 win at Bastion Gardens on Friday Evening .Jamie Breese who else made it 20 league goals for the season as he scored the winner in the 63rd minute after a great ball into the box by Ryan Edwards. Holywell held on for their 16th league win of the season. Prestatyn Town are 11 points away from safety with 5 games to play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air Bus Broughton 1 Guilsfield 1<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Air Bus Broughton title hopes came off the rails on Saturday afternoon against Guilsfield. Jamie Hyne headed in from a James Smallwood’s corner to score his 14th league goal as he put the visitors 1-0 up against the title contenders in the 72nd minute but 10 minutes later the Wing Makers were level through Jordan Evans curling shot but they couldn’t find a winner. As I write this Air Bus game in hand against Llay Welfare on Tuesday night has been postponed by the FAW and will be re-arranged in due course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A big test for Flint Mountain on Friday Night at Llandudno in a battle for 4th place hots up both teams are in form and unbeaten in 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Talking about In form teams Gresford Athletic lifted themselves from the relegation zone to 8th place with 4 wins on the bounce. Charlie Mann scored the opener in the 28th minute with a curling shot that’s two in two. Toby Gallagher- Keenan scored with a quick fire double to make it 3-0. It could of got worse for the home team with the visitors hitting the woodwork twice through Dave Forbes and Haci Ozlu. In the 66th minute Fabrizio Murtas corner set up Lucas Gregson to score Mold Alexandra consolation goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The League leaders survived a tough trip to Bala’s Maes Tegid, but its a massive result 23 matches unbeaten and now the title charge is in their hands. The Seagulls scored in the 22nd minute when a cross from Joe Williams found the head of Jamie Cumming for his 11th league goal of the season. A massive game at Maes Tegid for Ruthin Town on Saturday against Llay Welfare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caersws 1 Penrhyncoch 2<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This game was played at Latham Park Newtown due to the Recreation Ground in Caersws not recovering from the last two home games. The visitors took the lead in the 25th minute through Dillon Phillips . The Bluebirds equalised with Tommy Rowlands just before half time his 4th goal in 7 games since his January signing from Ardal North East side Builth Wells. But the Roosters won it with a wonder strike from Owain Evans to gave Penrhyncoch a big 3 points and valuable breathing space to the bottom three 8 points clear with 3 games in hand. Caersws are in big trouble only taking one point out of 18 since they beat the current Cymru North Champions Holywell Town at home on the 18th January, and they play title chasing Colwyn Bay away this Saturday. The only saving grace they are 2 points clear and 2 games in hand over Ruthin Town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
