The final game of the season for The Daffs sadly they been relegated unless they could win their last game but after losing their last three games they also had to overturn a 13 goal swing. Brickfield Rangers were looking for their third straight win to put pressure on the top two of Dolgellau AA and Bow Street.<\/p>\n\n\n

Eleven minutes into the second half Brickfield’s centre half STEVE WATKIN would pop up to score his 7th league goal a great return for a centre back when he was set up by Ben Dawson. The win was complete when two minutes from time when PAIGE WILDING scored with the second of Silva Neto assists.<\/p>\n\n\n

With Dolgellau losing at home to Radnor Valley, Brickfield Rangers are just three points behind the new leaders Bow Street. They both have one game to play here is the exciting bit they both have to play Brickfield Rangers Away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gareth Wilson men need seven points from four games for the title. They play the first of them against Cefn Albion at Clywedog Park were both teams have been playing this season on Tuesday night. With the back of this they are in the Ardal North League Final against Porthmadog after beating Trearddur Bay at home in the semi final.<\/p>\n\n\n

Positive news coming out of Llanidloes Town on Saturday night is that in their 150th year that Manager Rhys Evans has committed to the club for next season, great news as Rhys has picked up 11 points out of 27 since he came to the club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dolgellau AA 1 Radnor Valley 4.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

League Leaders Dolgellau AA were hoping to stay there after five straight wins until they met Brickfield Rangers last Saturday but they were up against an in form Radnor Valley who were unbeaten in six league games and had reached two cup finals and lost in a semi final Ardal North League Cup to Porthmadog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The visitors started well and were two nil up inside 14 minutes when THOMAS EDWARDS opened the scoring when against one defender in the area he turned and slotted the ball in the net and three minutes later from a poor goal kick from Dolgellau EDWARDS would double their lead when assisted by Jack Price. On 35 minutes in got even better tripled their lead when CHARLES BEAUMONT header made it three with a Jack Clarke corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The game would be overshowed by a serious knee injury to Dolgellau 26 goal Striker Osian Morris after 50\/50 challenge, we wish Osian a quick recovery from here at Cymru Sport<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The home team got one back before half time when DENNIS BATES put his team on the board with a curling free kick round the wall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two sending off for the Hornets within three minutes saw them down to nine men as two straight red cards to Guto Pugh for a two footed challenge and then sub Edward Powl- Jones who was on the pitch eight minutes for a reckless sliding tackle. Referee Colin Jukes brought the two captains together to calm things down. With 15 minutes left SAM SAINSBURY scored the visitors fourth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This defeat will hit Dolgellau hard as now they have to rely on other teams if they are to win the title. As for Radnor Valley they are in two finals first one is the Radnorshire Cup Final against Builth Wells this Easter Monday then this Friday against Cymru North Guilsfield in the CWFA Senior Cup, they will have a big say if the title race with away trips to Llanuwchllyn and Brickfield Rangers with wins against both they could even finish top six in the league.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
