Genero Adran North and South action returns for the first time in 2026, with three games in total to be played, whilst the Bute Energy Welsh Cup Round of 16 tie from last week is set to be played this weekend.
The North Wales Coast Llandudno Kia Women’s League Cup continues with Round Two this weekend, and the Perago West Wales Women’s Leagues also continue for the first time since the Christmas break.
Other Cup competitions also continue, with rescheduled games in the Hugh James SWFA Women’s Cup and SWWGL Alun Evans League Cup, whilst the Central Wales League North and SWWGL Leagues also continuing this weekend.

Bute Energy Welsh Cup
Llandudno vs Wrexham Foresters

Genero Adran North side Llandudno will be looking to avoid becoming the latest Cup upset to tier three Wrexham Foresters, with a place in the Bute Energy Welsh Cup Quarter-Finals up for grabs.
This is the fixture that was also rearranged from last week, after being postponed due to the weather.
Led by Jay Davies, Llandudno progressed to this stage of the competition with a penalty shootout win over Llangefni Town, also from the league below, so they already haven experience of this type of scenario.
However, that was actually the last game they played, back in November, with other games being postponed between that. A long time without match minutes for a Llandudno side who have been very up and down this season.
They face a Wrexham Foresters side who are yet to lose a game since their formation in the summer. Unbeaten with 83 goals at the top of the newly formed Central Wales North League, and having beaten two Genero Adran North sides already in the Bute Energy Welsh Cup.
Wins against CPDM Y Felinheli and Flint Town United have been statements to the rest of the nation for Foresters, who many are tipping to progress past Llandudno.
A big difference this time though, is that Foresters will be without Player/Manager Kirstie Kural on the pitch. The former Connah’s Quay Nomads midfielder has already scored 40 goals in all competitions this season, including 11 in this competition, but was sent off in the last round against Flint.
They do have quality across the pitch though, and lots of players who can create outside of Kural. Anna Thomas, Laura Tobin, Louise Wilson and Foresters captain Morgan Churchill have all been standouts for the tier three side this season, whilst young winger Savannah Miller is beginning to make a name for herself in North Wales.
Against a Llandudno side with a good mix of experience and young talent, and whilst they’ve shown inconsistency, they’ve had some big results of their own too, notably beating Adran North leaders Connah’s Quay Nomads twice already this season.
Another Welsh Cup tie which will guarantee a team outside the Adran Prem going through to the last eight, and Llandudno will be fully aware of the threat that Wrexham Foresters pose.
Genero Adran North
CPDM Y Felinheli vs Flint Town United

Kick-Off – 2pm
Flint Town United will be looking to bounce back from defeat in their last game over a month ago, as they travel to Bangor to face CPDM Y Felinheli.
The game will be played at Bangor University’s Treborth 3G with the weather in mind, as both sides aim to be back playing for the first time in a while tomorrow afternoon.
The visiting Flint haven’t played since the start of December, whilst Felinheli haven’t played for nearly two months. Both sides were defeated by Connah’s Quay Nomads in their most recent Genero Adran North fixtures.
Currently in 2nd, Flint will be looking to apply the pressure to league leaders Connah’s Quay. Oli Williams’ side are currently on course for their highest league since their formation.
However, this is a Felinheli side that came out on top in this fixture back in February last year, the last time the two sides played each other. Defender Kelly Jones gave the hosts the lead at Cae Seilo, before a Catrin Evans penalty wrapped up the game for Aaron Jones-Evans’ side.
This will be the first encounter between the two sides this season, with the reverse fixture also being played this month. Both sides have progressed since their last meeting, which sets up an intriguing battle.
Connah’s Quay Nomads vs Berriew

Genero Adran North leaders Connah’s Quay Nomads will be looking to continue their winning start to the league campaign, as Berriew visit the Deeside Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The newly promoted Berriew come into this game on the back of an impressive 3-0 victory against Llandudno, their first win in the Adran North since joining the division.
Gemma Jones opened the scoring for Berriew, before Dottie Evans stuck a brace to complete the scoring for Regina Hanratty’s side.
They also gave a good account of themselves the last time they faced The Nomads. A solid defensive display in Genero Adran Trophy Group Stage in their opening game of the season, with a second half strike from Polly Wild-McGregor being the deciding moment of the tie.
A much-improved Connah’s Quay side recently though. Three wins on the bounce, including a crucial 3-1 victory over Flint, means Jord Parry’s Adran North champions are on course to repeat last season’s league finish.
They’ve been free scoring, with 20 goals in their last three games, meaning Berriew will have to be at their best again from a defensive side of things to have any chance of a result in this matchup.
Genero Adran South
Cwmbran Celtic vs Cascade YC

With this being their game in hand, Cwmbran Celtic have the chance to jump to 2nd in the Genero Adran South, as they host Cascade YC at the Avondale Motor Park Arena.
Led by former player Georgia Shwartz, Celtic haven’t lost in the league since September, and have won their last five games in all competitions.
Both sides come into this game on the back of progression in the Hugh James SWFA Cup. Cwmbran put ten past Coed Duon to progress, including a brace each for Lauren Boyd, Gracie Grosvenor and Eloise Meaney.
Cascade also progressed in a 9-1 win against Llantwit Fardre, as Ellis Lunn scored six. It was a needed win in truth, with Sunday’s visitors still without a point in the Genero Adran South. That’s despite the majority of their games this season having very little to separate themselves and their opponents.
A 2-1 defeat was their last outing in the league, so they’ll be looking to start 2026 in tier two with points on the board.
It was Cwmbran Celtic who came out 3-1 winners in this fixture back in October in the Genero Adran Trophy. Both sides ended up progressing from the group, but two from Fiona Athony and a Georgina Cridland strike ensured it was Cwmbran who would top the group. Erin Parry scored the Cascade goal in that game.
A huge game for both sides for different reasons, with a win either way boosting their season hopes.
