Briton Ferry Llansawel will be looking to build on their first win of Phase Two in the Genero Adran U19s Premier Conference, as they face Carmarthen Town on Friday night.
The Ferry travelled North to face Connah’s Quay Nomads last week, coming out 5-0 winners at The Poppies 3G.
Sophia Grove has stepped up from the U17s in Phase Two, and was key in the win against Nomads. Good pressure from the striker allowed Grove to finish past the oncoming Beca Davies.
It was Grove again to double the lead. A well placed pass over the backline from Chloe Rudge found Grove, who fired home this time with her right foot, to make it two. Bella Williams scored in both halves to make if four, also putting her name on the scoresheet twice.
Harley Hodge scored a fifth in the final five minutes, to ensure Ferry claimed their first three points of the Premier Conference stage.

They face a Carmarthen Town side who were inspired by 16-year-old striker Evie Jones in their comeback draw against Cardiff City.
Anuka O’Hare scored her first goal for The Bluebirds since joining from Taffs Well, to give the visitors the lead on the hour mark. Alys Wilson scored just minutes later to double the advantage.
However, City wouldn’t hold on. A long-range effort from Jones, before scoring a second with five minutes to play, would see The Old Gold claim another point in Phase Two from a losing position.
Briton Ferry have won four out of the five meetings between the two sides in U19s competition, something Carmarthen will be looking to put right on Friday evening.
Cardiff City will have to overcome last season’s national runners up if they are to return to winning ways, as they travel to The Rock to face Wrexham AFC.

Grace Olsen was the hero that day for Cardiff, with the goalkeeper scoring the winning penalty after a 1-1 draw in the original 90 minutes.
Cardiff City won the other two meetings between the two sides, both in the Play-Off Final, so this will be an opportunity for Wrexham to claim their first win against The Bluebirds.
In the Championship Conference, unbeaten Aberystwyth Town host Swansea City at Park Avenue, with The Swans looking to bounce back from their defeat to Cardiff Met.
Goals from Ellie Gibbins and Lowri Jones would not be enough for the travelling Swans, with Cardiff Met scoring on four ocassions. Hannah Rayner scored a brace in the first half, before goals from Grace Baynham and former Swan Gracie-Mae Howard sealed the win for Championship leaders Met.
However, Swansea City haven’t lost to Aber Town in any of their five meetings. A Lowri Jones hattrick helped her side on the way to a 7-0 win at Fairwood in October.
Cascade YC and Llanelli Town AFC go head-to-head on Friday evening, as both sides continue their search of a first point in Phase Two.
Also in search of a first point on the board is Taffs Well. They travel to a Penybont side on Friday looking to bounce back from defeat to Cardiff Met last time out.
Pontypridd United vs The New Saints and Barry Town United vs Connah’s Quay Nomads have been postponed on Saturday in the Premier Conference.
Amongst those teams, last week saw a key showdown between the top two, TNS and Barry, where a fifth goal of Phase Two for Non Williams saw The Saints equalise with seconds to go in the game.
Millie Breen originally gave The Linnets the lead, but for the second week in a row they had to settle for a point. Barry stay top with the point, with TNS also remaining 2nd.
